thing and things

Many things have happed between now and my last post. I am now 17 and have had one more Christmas under my belt. Christmas was interesting, because my family was all sick. We stayed home by ourselves and opened presents. We were going to have extended family over but with us being sick, it just didn't work out. My favorite thing that i got for Christmas was my awesome new laptop.  I've done a lot with it and its been good to me. The other day it snowed a gazillion and school was canceled for the whole week. It got so bad that we even lost power for two days, but luckily we had a generator.

new quarter

This week marks the begging of my new quarter in bates. I am continuing with computer science and as a gen ed class, i am taking interpersonal communications. Mr Tiger in a very interesting man with an effective teaching style. I am most excited about java scrip, because its easy and used a lot. If i make anything ill be sure to post it for my fans hahahaha>_<

school

School has finally gotten interesting. College here at bates is surprisingly enjoyable and i look forward to it every day(- the commute). The days are filled with comfort and a great learning environment. Tacoma has also been interesting. This is my first time being in a city in a long time. It isn't like I've never been to Tacoma its just that most of the time we are only passing through or are shopping for something. Thus far I've seen a number of strange and sad things that make me wonder if some people chose to live that way or if its is all they know. As i am here i might as well study people and people habits to learn more. Next quarter i have a human relations class and maybe i can understand this world better.
